SINCE 1962
Refinery and foundry since 1962, Sorame is specialized in continuous and centrifugal casting. Our range of product is wide: hollow and solid bars, square and rectangular bars, tailor-made shaped and sized bars in copper-tin base and aluminium alloys.
Our wide range of products allows us to meet the clients’ needs, supplying tailor-made alloys. From our foundry in Genoa we aim to be a reference point for customers in the field of metallurgy.
SO.RA.ME. was born in 1962
SO.RA.ME. Srl was founded in 1962, but we have been producing bronze and brass ingots since 1947. That year, the late Luigi Carlo Peri started the production, quickly growing in the national market with avantgarde techniques and innovations. Today, more than 50 years have passed, and we can pride ourselves on following the path and keeping up with the constant market's evolution and needs.

Continuous casting system
In the early 70ies SO.RA.ME. invested in a new Continuous casting system: it was a turning point for the factory, because we could expand in new markets with products renowned for their precision and firmness.

During the '80ies we incremented our production by installing a new centrifugal casting machine. By then, we have been able to fullfill the mechanical industry's needs,with our high standard products.

aluminum bronzes
During the 90s SO.RA.ME. began the production of aluminum bronzes, by centrifugal and continuous casting. Being one of the first in Italy, we anticipated the industry's demand for high resistance and lasting alloys.

In 2000 we started personally managing each stage of manufacture, from order to production to delivery of the final product, with avant-garde techniques. This permits us to halve delivery times and offer competitive prices, while guaranteeing high quality standards, our distinguishing features.
