Advanced processing
techniques

Our advanced techniques allow us to produce:

  • aluminium bronze bars;
  • square and hexagonal bars;
  • continuous casting bronze bars;
  • centrifugated bronze rollers and rings.

Types

Continuous casting

Continuous casting is a process that allows us to obtain a wide range of profiles, maximum diameter 500 mm. The production is controlled throughout every step, resulting in bars with different profiles and lenghts and a low level of turnings.

Centrifugated casting

Centrifugated casting provides firmness, finely structured grains and the finest finish to our products.

Ingots

We certify our ingots with EN – UNI – DIN – SAE – ASTM or any other specific you may request. We select turnings and scrap to melt and obtain raw material.

Continuous casting

Uses and technical characteristics

Continuous casting is a process that allows us to obtain a wide range of profiles, both in standard forms or following our client’s drawing.

Our casting process allows us to manufacture with no limits regarding lenght and shape:

  • solid bars
  • hollow bars
  • rectangular bars
  • square bars
  • custom shaped bars
  • peeled bars
  • custom sized bars

The continuous casting process is controlled throughout every step, resulting in high quality alloys.

Afterwards, we proceed rolling the product to obtain a smooth surface, which makes it suitable for use on automated machines.
On request, we are able to offer solid peeled and ground bars with tolerances H7, H9, H11.
In the last few years we have added nickel alloys to our production; this alloy is very requested in food and pharmaceutical industry.

Centrifugal casting is a process that results in alloys with no porosity and swelling, but incredible finish and firmness.

The molecular structure is unbelievably homogeneous and firm, thanks to the high speed rotation and a quick cooling.
Centrifugal casting is particularly suitable for rings and rollers of any size, in non ferrous alloys. General mechanics, especially for high fatigue applications.
Our centrifugal casting machines:

  • rings and rollers, maximum diameter 2500 mm
  • scrolls up to 8000 kg

We can supply rollers up to 2000 mm diameter within a short time.

Ingots

Uses and technical characteristics

We select metal scrap, turnings from mechanical processing, secondary raw materials, dividing them by quality; we remelt them into rotatory and pot furnaces. Afterwards, we cast them into ingots (bronze or any other metal on specific request).

Our laboratory can carry out tests to certify quality and comply the UNI – EN, ASTM, SAE standards, or any other on specific request.
